General Information
The Classroom Teaching Program was established in 2011 within the Nizip Faculty of Education. After its establishment, our program began providing education services with 40 students in the 2011-2012 academic year. Our program, which accepts students through exams conducted by ÖSYM every year, increased its student quota to 52 in the 2012-2013 academic year.
The purpose of the Classroom Teaching program is to provide students with the basic knowledge, skills and abilities that will be necessary in their professional lives, to combine field experiences with theoretical education, to train classroom teachers who can be a good model for their students in their personal and professional lives, who follow developments in their field closely, who use their time efficiently and have effective communication skills, who have adopted scientific ethical rules, who are aware of lifelong learning, and who are sensitive to people, society and nature. The program aims to train classroom teachers who will serve at the primary school level (grades 1-4) in order to meet the classroom teacher needs of the Ministry of National Education.
The language of education in the Department of Classroom Teaching is Turkish and the duration of education is 4 years. The program includes compulsory, field knowledge, teaching profession knowledge, general culture and practical courses. The courses are carried out theoretically and practically. Graduates who successfully complete the program by fulfilling all its requirements (equivalent to a total of 240 ECTS) receive a "Bachelor's degree in Classroom Teaching".
We strive to achieve our goal of training teachers who can meet international qualifications with 1 Professor, 1 Associate Professor, 1 Assistant Professors and 1 Research Assistant who are experienced in research and teacher training and actively teach in our program.
